Nicholas Vogler is a machine learning engineer who helps teams go from AI proof-of-concept to production system -- building integrations that are scalable, maintainable, and actually useful.

Before tech, he served 5.5 years as a Sergeant in the US Marine Corps -- managing networks and data systems across deployments in Germany and Pakistan. That military discipline carries into everything he builds.

With a CS degree from Michigan and a Master's in Data Science from UC Berkeley, he has spent 15+ years building data and ML systems across defense, intelligence, and commercial sectors -- from computer vision pipelines to large-scale data infrastructure (including a US patent for data extraction).

Through Automated Insights LLC, he works with teams to design AI-powered features, architect reliable ML pipelines, and ensure that AI investments translate into durable, well-engineered products rather than fragile demos.

AI Integration

Connecting LLMs, vision models, and ML services into your product -- with clean APIs, error handling, and cost controls that hold up in production.

MLOps & Deployment

Model lifecycle management, CI/CD for ML, reproducible training pipelines, and inference systems designed for reliability at scale.

Data Engineering

Scalable data pipelines, ETL architecture, and the infrastructure that feeds your AI systems with clean, reliable data.

Computer Vision

Image and video analysis systems, object detection, and visual data pipelines for real-world applications.

System Architecture

Designing the data models, service boundaries, and integration patterns that let AI features scale without turning into tech debt.

AI Strategy

Evaluating where AI fits in your product, what to build vs. buy, and how to structure your team and stack for long-term success.
